About Us

Kilifi Sailing Club (KSC) was established in August 2010 through an initiative of local families and the Kilfii Boat Yard supported from funds generously donated by the Netherlands Embassy.

KSC now has 8 new Optimists (Zou Intermarine), with an additional 3 training boats, housed in enlarged premises and ably supported by a local coach and training assistant. There is a programme of beginner training through our ‘Sunday Club’ and a series of training clinics and racing regattas at various times of the year.

All proceeds from lessons, training and racing events, and from chartering boats is channelled back into supporting the training programme for local children who otherwise
could not afford to participate.
