Kenya sent 5 sailors to the All African Optimist Championships 2012 in Tanzania - Dar es Salaam (August 18-26).

3° South are hosting race days on the third sunday of each month in the bowl in Kilifi. Come along. It's very inclusive, designed for all ages and handicapped according to class of dinghy. Meet around 2 pm for race brief at Boatyard. More details on their website

3° South (formerly Neilson), have reopened under the same superb managment of Jo and Anne and operating out of the Boatyard. They've loads of stuff going on - kids clubs, courses, race days and also community sailing with Kesho sponsored students.
